A SCARECROW festival in Colwall raised a fantastic £800 for charity last weekend.
Families followed a trail of almost 70 colourful characters dotted around the town on Sunday, July 18.
Organiser Gillian Hancock said: “It was a lovely village affair. The weather kept dry and we had live music on the green with accordionist Paul Morris. Because it was so successful and such a lovely atmosphere we were thinking we might do it next year as well.”
Megan Baker House, a conductive education centre disabled children and adults, benefited from the fund-raiser.
