HEREFORDSHIRE councillors are to hear tomorrow (Monday, September 13), if any problems have arisen following the reopening of the Colwall railway bridge a year ago.

The bridge, which crosses the railway in the centre of the village, had to be closed to traffic in August 2007, because of worries about its strength, Although it was reopened to light traffic in December that year, the decision was taken to replace the structure.

At tomorrow's meeting of the environment scrutiny committee, highways deputy chief Richard Ball is expected to deliver a verbal report on any issues arising from the reopening.
