IT will be apples all round when Colwall Orchard Group holds a special day devoted to the fruit tomorrow (Saturday, October 15).
The apple day is being held on the Colwall Cricket Club grounds, and it starts at 1.30pm, with admission £2 for adults and free for children.
Members of the group will have their juicer there, and visitors are welcome to bring their own apples and have them made into juice.
Apple tree expert John Edgeley is holding an apple tree identification clinic. For a £5 fee, he will identify apple varieties for people who bring along specimens of the fruit, plus twigs or branches.
Fruit, fruit trees and produce will be on sale, and there will be refreshments, tea and coffee, a licensed bar and apple games for children. Parking is available at the nearby village hall.
All proceeds will go to fund the group's project to create a community orchard and village garden.
