Woman fell from the bridge on the A449 Worcester Road near Malvern Link station

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling from a railway bridge in Worcestershire.
The woman, who is in her 20s, fell from the railway bridge on the A449 Worcester Road, near Malvern Link train station, at about 6.15pm last night.
Ambulance crews found the woman to the side of the railway track with a head injury.
The woman was given an anaesthetic at the scene and fully immobilised.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where she remains in a serious condition.
Another woman was arrested following the incident and remains in custody at Worcester Police Station where she is helping police with their investigation.
As we reported last night, the railway line was closed for a time due to the incident.
Witnesses to the incident or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting 616/S/141112.
