Centre fun day proves a success

A FUND-raising event for Cancer Research UK took place at Ledbury Children’s Centre and raised more than £300 for the charity.
The event was organised by Karen Faizey, together with a number of other mums who regularly attend the centre.
A toy tombola, face painting, lucky dip, card-making, raffle and many other activities kept both parents and children busy, and tea and cakes were available.
She said: “I would like to thank the children’s centre for the use of their facilities and thank all those who contributed by donating cakes, fruit and other goodies.”
