Police seek pair for unpaid restaurant bills in Ledbury

POLICE want to speak to two women about two separate incidents where restaurant bills have gone unpaid.

The offences happened at The Feathers Hotel, High Street, Ledbury, on the evenings of October 26 last year and Friday, January 4.

On both occasions, two women ate a meal in the hotel's restaurant before asking for coffee to be brought through to them in the lounge.

After they had their coffee, they left the hotel without paying, leaving bills totalling more than £100.

PC Shirley Peters said: "We believe that the two women who recently made off from the hotel without paying for their food, are the same two who carried out a similar offence last October.

"Clearly this is unacceptable and we all know there's no such thing as a free dinner. We need to find out who the pair are and put a stop to their dishonest dining activities.

Anyone with information should call PC Peters on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident 269N 040113, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Well, the pair of them look like they should be skipping a few meals, not the bills.

Neither of these people will be welcome at the new real supermarket that Ledbury is so much in need of.
