Terrier dumped
A VETS’ practice is looking for a new home for a dog which was abandoned.
Helen Helme, manager of the Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre, found the little dog.
She said: “He was tied to a clothesline outside the centre.” The centre took him in, checked him over and found him healthy, and is now looking for a loving home for him.
“He’s a lovely little chap, a very jolly dog and we’d like to find a good home where he’ll be happy,” she said.
Anyone who can find a home for the dog, who has been dubbed Wally by centre staff, can contact the centre at the Lower Road Trading Estate on 01531 632276.
