Charity pub quiz in aid of rescue squad
THE rescue team that hit the headlines on New Year’s Eve after sensationally saving a family stranded in Uckinghall near Upton is holding a pub quiz to raise money for the organisation.
West Midlands Search and Rescue is a locally based land and water search and rescue charity funded wholly through donations. On Sunday, February 24, the team will host a charity pub quiz at the Duke of York pub in Berrow, near Ledbury.
The evening kicks off at 6.30pm and entry is £2 per person, with teams of any size.
There will be also be a raffle and free buffet.
