World book Day full of character...

A HOST of favourite family characters were on hand as a celebration of World Book Day took place at Jack in the Box nursery, in Bosbury, near Ledbury.

Staff and children dressed up as their best-loved story characters while at the same time parents and grandparents settled to enjoy tea and flapjacks and watched in delight as youngsters performed a poem they had learnt. The nursery combined its World Book Day celebrations with an event to support the annual charity ‘Chatterbox Challenge’.

Lauren Saunder, from Jack in the Box, said: “Chatterbox Challenge raises funds to help children who struggle to communicate.

“This is definitely something we have experienced and overcome at Jack In The Box.”
