Dowser’s book to cleanse your life
1:00pm Friday 23rd August 2013 in Ledbury
A LEDBURY dowser who recently appeared on television alongside the Top Gear star James May has written a book on how to spiritually cleanse your home.
Adrian Incledon-Webber, of Lambourne Close, took part in BBC’s Man Lab show, screened in April, where he attempted to use dowsing rods to find a wedding ring that had been lost years before by James May’s father.
Although the ring wasn’t found during filming, Mr Incledon-Webber says he did pick up strong signals where a gold ring was actually found by a dowser several weeks afterwards.
He said: “James May was a really nice chap, and really quite open to it all. This was a great experience and James was truly taken with his taste of dowsing and I hope that the programme encouraged others to try their hand.”
And he said everyone could benefit from the skills offered by the technique. “Dowsing is an ancient craft that has been used for centuries throughout the world,” he said.
“It’s an intuitive skill we all possess but rarely use.
“With a little practice and some good teaching, we can develop our ability to search for what lies beneath.
“Dowsing can be used in health and wellbeing; in the home and garden; for archaeological searches; earth mysteries, discovering ley lines as well as the traditional water divining.”
Some of those mysterious energies are the subject of his book, Heal Your Home, due out on Amazon and Kindle in three weeks’ time.
The book will explains the use of geomancy, or western earth healing, to rid homes of negative energies such as the residue of negative human emotions.
He came up with the idea while working as an estate agent in the south of England, and noticing that some homes seemed to be “divorce houses” – properties where one divorce seemed to follow another.
He said: “Some houses can hold a lot of human emotion – we are very emotional beings, and there can be bad, recurring patterns.”
Ways to tackle the negative energies in a DIY way can include burning incense and using crystals.
But Mr Incledon-Webber stressed that the DIY approach may not work with actual ghosts, when expert advice should be sought.
