AN EVENING with a snow clad ice bar and dancing fire jugglers raised more than £18,000 for St Michael's Hospice in Hereford.
The Fire and Ice ball was organised by the charitable trust of the law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys at The Chase Hotel in Ross.
Revellers enjoyed a welcome from ice men and fire people from Ross' X-entricity Theatre Group, chilled champagne courtesy of Pol Roger and table decorations from Prestige Events.
The money raised will furnish four new in-patient bedrooms at St Michael's, which are nearing completion.
Matt Hayes, head of Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Hereford office, said: "The generosity shown throughout the organisation of this event and during the evening was overwhelming. It really did show the enormous support the local community has for St Michael's."
