The "Poets Path Potter" events in the Dymock area will celebrate more than a century of local poetry history.
Those taking part, on Saturday, March 28, will take a choice of three distances to walk or run, of eight miles, 16 miles or 26 miles, along scenic countryside paths
The Gloucestershire landscape near Dymock would have been well-known to poets who settled in the area, or visited regularly, shortly before the First World World.
These include such famous literary luminaries as Edward Thomas, Rupert Brooke and Robert Frost.
