TEA and cakes were served up when the mayor of Leominster visited the charity she has chosen to support this year.
Councillor Felicity Norman will be supporting Marches Family Network – which provides high-quality respite care services for children with disabilities and special needs.
On Monday (June 29), Cllr Norman visited the charity's offices in Leominster to find out more about the work it does and to meet parents and carers, trustees, play workers and office staff.
Money was also raised from the sale of cakes for Teddies to Syria, a project headed up by Ellie Targett.
Manager of Marches Family Network, Louise Walton, said the charity was 'thrilled' to have Cllr Norman's support.
She said she hopes it will help to raise funds and the profile of the charity.
