THERE'S plenty to keep kids occupied during the holidays with summer workshops at The Courtyard.

Become a hero for the week with The Courtyard’s Super Heroes workshop (from Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 14), perfect for children aged 7 – 12 years.

Breathe fire and freeze enemies with ice as super heroes take over The Courtyard. Everyone is welcome to trial for The Courtyard Crusaders, The Courtyard’s own super hero team. At the end of the week your superhero try-outs will be shown to an invited audience to enjoy.

For younger children, aged four to eight, The Courtyard are also Making Bugs, Butterflies and Beetles (Wednesday, August 19 to Friday, August 21, 10am – 1pm) in a fun arts and crafts-based workshop, where children can create collage creepy crawlies, spotty ladybirds, colourful beetles and big, bold beautiful butterflies.

The Conquest Young Company week (Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7, 10am to 3pm), taking place at The Conquest Theatre in Bromyard, also offers the opportunity for young people to become playwrights, actors and directors for a week before presenting a performance on stage at The Conquest Theatre. The workshop will be directed by a professional actor who will lead young people in forming their own theatre company. There will be the opportunity to get involved with every area, from performing to marketing to prop making.
