OWNERS of a private garden 'wonderland' are opening their doors to the public to raise funds for sick children.
The seven-acre Lower Hope Gardens, near Ullingswick, will be open from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday August 9 to help raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice, which cares for children and young people from across the region.
There will be refreshments throughout the day and tickets are available on the door at a cost of £5 for adults and £1 for children.
In the last year, Acorns has provided care for 21 children and 29 families from Herefordshire, including those who are bereaved, at its hospice in Worcester.
All proceeds from the open garden will go to the charity. For more information call Mandie Fitzgerald on 01905 761 220.
