A MOTORSPORT enthusiast who has had 29 bikes stolen in the past 15 years says the thefts have left him feeling sick.

Leslie Williams has recently seen three more of the off-road motocross bikes disappear from a storage building in Allensmore.

The latest thefts involve a black Honda CR 500, an orange KTM 85 and a blue Yamaha TTR 90.

Mr Williams says he has now lost 29 of the bikes in the past 15 years - from various storage locations - with just two being later retrieved.

"I just felt sick when I found out about the latest three," said Mr Williams, who is 77 and lives in Newton Farm, Hereford.

"You just think 'not again'. We thought we had got it [the storage building] secured.

"There's a huge market for these sort of bikes."

Mr Williams has six remaining bikes which he plans to move from their current storage area to a new home.

A West Mercia Police spokesman confirmed the bikes were stolen from a locked unit in Allensmore between 7pm on July 17 and 2.45pm the following day.

Officers say the thief or thieves gained entry by snapping the locks on the door.
