FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at a saw mill in Pontrilas on Friday.
Three appliances from Hereford attended along with crews from from Ewyas Harold, South Wales and a water carrier from Leominster at around 11.40pm.
An environmental unit from Stourport was also in attendance.
The fire was in a timber processing building which was approximately 10 per cent involved in fire.
It was extinguished with four hose reel jets and the building electrics were isolated by the environmental protection unit.
Police also attended and a re-inspection was carried out at 10am the following day.
