WITH winter approaching, a list of flu clinics at Herefordshire surgeries has been announced.
Patients eligible for NHS flu vaccinations can be aged 65 or over, pregnant, suffer with a heart problem, kidney disease, chest complaint or breathing difficulties, including bronchitis, emphysema or severe asthma, or have lowered immunity due to disease or treatment, liver disease and a stroke.
Also qualifying are those with diabetes or those who are the main carer of an older or disabled person registered with a surgery.
Children under four, and pupils in Years One and Two at primary school are eligible too.
The surgery clinic dates for registered patients is as follows:
• Quay House Medical Centre: October 2, October 6, October 9, October 13 and October 17
• Credenhill Surgery: October 6 and October 13.
• Belmont Medical Centre: Please ring the surgery for an appointment.
• Greyfriars Surgery: Flu clinics will be held throughout the week starting from October 1; Contact the surgery for an appointment.
• Sarum House Surgery: October 3 and October 17 – between 9am and 11.30am.
• The Richmond Club, Hereford: October 22 – between 8.30am and 12.30pm, adults only.
• Cantilupe Surgery: October 17 at Hampton Dene Surgery – 9am-11.30am.
• Wargrave House Surgery: October 3, 9am to 12pm and October 17, 9am to noon.
