VOLUNTEERS at The Shop in Bromsberrow are in the mood to celebrate, after their recent Macmillan coffee morning raised £830 for the cancer charity.

Event organiser James Dowdall said “This is a flagship fundraising event for us and the local community is very supportive and generous.

"We want to thank everyone who attended and donated and of course express our gratitude to all the unpaid volunteers who gave up their time to bake, serve, decorate, sell and wash up.

"It was worth all the effort to raise such a huge amount.”

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest of the British Charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
