A BODENHAM resident was part of a team which won a gold medal for their display at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Pat Crane was part of a team representing the Three Counties and South Wales area for the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies.
They staged a Victorian Revival representing the birth of flower arranging- at a time when the Victorian plant hunters were bringing in new and exotic plants from all over the world.
The centrepiece of the exhibit was a specially constructed Victorian conservatory with a fountain in the centre surrounded by original Victorian artefacts and flower arrangements.
The team has been working on the project for 15 months and have been supported by the members of the many flower arranging clubs throughout the area.
