A ROSS-on-Wye singer has now released a single to raise awareness of modern day slavery in the UK.
April Shipton launched the single, Thirteen, in Cheltenham to 250 businesswomen at the Maximise conference.
Singing coach Amy Box, professional actor Joel Daffurn and April performed a drama to the track following the narrative of the song.
All proceeds from the single will go to the UK charity Safe From Slavery, who provide intensive support and long term restoration to women rescued from sex-trafficking in the UK.
Howdens Ross-on-Wye has sponsored the production of 50 CDs and PromoDiscs provided another 50 free-of-charge. Everyone involved in creating the song and drama has donated their time and skills for free.
