THE executive director of Herefordshire Mind is retiring at the end of this month.
Richard Kelly has led the mental health charity for nine years.
During this time he has built up a range of services, including education, community support, recovery and wellbeing and housing and residential.
He leaves as his legacy a new, purpose built 14-bed mental health recovery facility, Miller Court.
This, together with the long established Shires and other residential facilities will help secure the long term future of Herefordshire Mind.
Richard, will be using up his leave between now and when he goes at the end of March, so Keith Woodall will lead the organisation as acting executive director until the appointment of Richard’s successor, David Healey.
For the past 15 years, Mr Healey has been a director at Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.
