THIS Bank Holiday Monday a new churchyard trail is being launched at St Mary’s Church in Linton at 3pm.
This will focus on Linton’s famous ancient yew and also visits the grave of Linton’s greatest benefactor, the Reverend Edward Palin.
He was the great-grandfather of Monty Python star and travel presenter Michael Palin.
A short history of this Saxon village, near Ross-on-Wye, will be given before a guided walk along the trail. This will be followed by tea and cakes in Linton Village Hall between 4pm to 5pm.
For more information call Roger Davies on 07771 812793.
