A BRIDE who grew her hair for her wedding this month has now had it cut off for charity.
Dominique New, 27, from Lower Bullingham got married to Stuart New on June 2 on a cruise ship.
She then had 11 inches of her hair cut off for the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
And it was a family affair as her sister, Natalie Griffiths, 33, from Lower Bullingham also had 10 inches cut off and her auntie, Jackie Preece, 54, from Belmont had 11 inches cut off.
As well as donating their hair, they collected sponsorship for Blackmarston School in Hereford, where Jackie works, to raise money for the school's multi-access minibus.
They have raised more than £300 so far.
