TRADITIONAL Bulgarian Folk Dancing brought together seasonal workers from a county business and a Leominster charity which supports adults with disabilities.

After the popularity of their demonstration at the recent ECHOfest event, Bulgarian workers from S&A’s Brierley Court Farm near Leominster were keen to share their skills and offered to run a taster workshop for staff and members of ECHO.

Jude Norcott, public relations manager at S&A, said: "Just as S&A is proud of its Herefordshire heritage, so our seasonal workers love to share the culture and traditions of their own homelands.

"At S&A we enjoy working in partnership with local community groups and are committed to supporting organisations which benefit the neighbouring areas in which we operate.

"Joining forces with ECHO is an ideal way to do this and learning to dance together brings enjoyment for everyone."

As the summer season draws to a close, some of the workers will soon return to their home country.

Lisa Woakes, who works as fundraising and marketing co-ordinator for ECHO, said: “We are very grateful to S&A for this opportunity. It has been a wonderful collaboration between the two organisations. We both gained an insight into each other’s cultures and we look forward to welcoming them back next year. It will give us time to practice."
