Parade will honour RAF heroes

AN RAF march past will be a highlight of a Battle of Britain Memorial Day event in Ledbury on Sunday.
Town jeweller Peter Judge, of JB Gaynan & Son in the Homend, has entered into the spirit of the event by decorating his shop windows with RAF memorabilia.
Among the guests at the memorial day will be Flt Lieutenant John Peters, who was paraded on Iraqi television after his tornado bomber was downed by Saddam’s forces in 1991.
The procession leaves the railway station at 11.30am.
