Burglary suspect released by police

A MAN from a village near Bromyard arrested in connection with a burglary has been released without charge.

On Tuesday, September 25, a man called at a property in Edgioake Lane, Astwood Bank, near Redditch, asking if they had any antiques or other items to sell.

After he had left, the homeowners believed a Rolex Tudor watch worth thousands of pounds had been stolen and reported the incident to the police.

However, they have since found the missing watch.

A man from Munderfield, near Bromyard, who was arrested on Wednesday, September 26, on suspicion of burglary has been released without charge.

Meanwhile, detectives continue to investigate reports of a suspicious man calling at people’s homes claiming to want to buy unwanted items.

He is white, between 65 and 80, of medium build.
