Round-up
Camping will increase poetry festival access
VISITORS to Ledbury Poetry Festival this year will have the option of camping out.
Festival director, Chloe Garner said the aim was to enable even more people to come.
The camp site will be at Ledbury Rugby Club, off the Ross Road.
She said: "It's quite pleasant down there, by the Leadon and it's just 15 minutes walk from the town centre."
Another new development will be a "Festival Goers' Room".
This will be filled with books and magazines and will be a place where visitors can meet each other, relax, read, or just put their feet up.
It will be based in a room under the Weavers Gallery in Church Lane, opposite the Burgage Hall.
Work on this year's programme is almost complete.
The programme will go on line first of all, on Tuesday, May 13, - www.poetry-festival.com
It will be launched at a gathering in The Feathers Hotel on Wednesday, May 28, at 7pm.
12:06pm Wednesday 7th May 2008
