Care homes fare well
CARE homes in the Ledbury area have come out very well so far in the star-rated results of an inspection carried out by the Commission for Social Care.
The Acquired Brain Injury Unit at Ledbury Community Hospital has secured three stars, which is an excellent rating.
The hospital's nursing home, also run by Shaw Healthcare, has been given two stars, which is a good rating.
The Leadon Bank Reablement Centre, also run by Shaw, is still awaiting its rating.
Keepers Cottage in Falcon Lane, was judged to be excellent.
Birchams Grange care home at Eastnor was also judged to be excellent.
Merrivale Farm at Tarrington was good.
Stanley House at Bosbury and Hill Ash House at Bosbury are still awaiting their ratings.
Pfera Hall at Redmarley was judged to be adequate.
