Having read in last week's Malvern Gazette that Malvern Hills District Council has applied for nine more refuse vehicles, I was left wondering just what is going on.
We know they have thousands of extra wheelie bins.
Have they now bought a stockpile of refuse lorries to go with them?
Either our enterprising council is going into the haulage business or the costs to run our refuse service are about to spiral out of control.
