IT is often quoted that “a rising tide lifts all boats”.
How true of the cable car project. Everyone will be able to share in its success.
Whether they are a person who has a job created or safeguarded, a council taxpayer who will gain from the influx of visitors to the town and the positive cash injection to council funds, or the Malvern Hills Conservators who stand to gain financially from parking provision and other income possibilities.
Not to mention the large number of people for whom a walk to the summit is out of the question.
Grasp the nettle and welcome visitors to the hills. They won’t wear them away and the Conservators will be able to carry out their good work to a far greater degree.
