DEVELOPMENT plans already submitted provide sufficient land for the next 5-10 years. Many of the “call for land” sites (which are only for top up for the 2030 totals) are on urban green open spaces.

This is land most valued by the community, and I suspect most profitable for the developers.

If approved are applications for sites such as Hayslan Fields going to be allowed to proceed in advance of the land properly planned in previous submissions of the South Worcestershire Development Plan?

If the estimates for housing 15 years out are overstated we will end up with the best bits of Malvern built on and sites that were in the original properly devised plan left half completed.

Please, planners and councillors, tell me how this benefits the community and what you are doing to put some sense into the process?
