I DID enjoy the tongue-in-cheek letter from Mr Atkins last week July 4).
I would support his comments concerning Hayslan Field.
I am also tired of hearing the locals demanding the area in which to walk their dogs.
To their credit, the owners – Malvern St James school – have kept a dignified silence on this matter.
But aren't they allowed to do what they like with their land, as long as they conform to any restrictions that the council might impose on the area?
They should not be dictated to by those who live nearby.
By all means, make any justifiable protest against injustice, but do remember at the end of the day that the owners of land should be free to dispose of it in the most beneficial manner for them.
Wouldn't we all?
