REGARDING the villagers of Callow End fighting to keep the Old Bush open (October 17).
The Blue Bell in Callow End, which is an excellent pub, needs their support .
Why does the village have a need for two pubs?
Susan Donohoe, landlady of the Blue Bell, has worked tirelessly for years for the community with little support from the villagers.
The message the villagers are giving is more of an objection to the potential development than the fact they are losing a pub.
Opposite the Old Bush is Callow End Working Men's club. How many more places do they need for a drink?
