IS it just me or have others reached a point of despair with regard to how our elected officials and council employees conduct themselves?

From recent reported incidents it seems that any criticism of council employees by a councillor ends in that councillor being ostracised by the chief executive, their email account being frozen and they effectively being sent to a 'Malvern Siberia'.

Then we have the case of the town clerk; heaven forbid that one raises one voice at a council employee.

Next, we have the consolidation with Wychavon, so the chief executive of Malvern gets a fantastic payoff.

Why do I get the statutory minimum when I get made redundant? I get no payments to my pension fund, so why are we paying thousands out to someone who is likely to be employed by another local authority within weeks?

How do I, or anyone else, get on this gravy train?

Oh, yes, did I mention the leader of the council and his planning application?

No, because I just give up. It's time we had some real leadership in the council offices because right now it's a joke!
