AS a dog owner I feel I must support the comments made by Peter Atkins in the Malvern Gazette (December 12).
I don't allow my own dog into my kitchen at home, and wouldn't dream of taking him into a shop that sold food, and especially not a cafe or restaurant.
I understand that walking with my dog does instantly restrict what I can do or where I can go.
It's my choice and I respect that, and don't expect to be allowed free access everywhere. Dog owners need to accept this. If they want total freedom – don't keep a dog!
