HAVE those in favour of the cable car project really considered the impact that the construction and daily maintenance of such a facility will have?
Do they really want tarmac roads laid up to the Beacon to transport the heavy equipment and machinery required to build and service the structure and associated buildings?
And what about all the infrastructure: drainage, water, electricity etc?
Do they want to see Rose Bank Gardens turned into a car park (I thought we had already fought that battle)?
The Conservators are protecting the hills from building and encroachment, which is exactly what the Malvern Hills Acts require them to do, and long may they do so, so that future generations can enjoy the unspoilt landscape that we have today.
