RECENTLY I was referred to the colonoscopy unit at the Worcester Royal Hospital (I will spare readers the details).
Naturally, I was extremely anxious but the kindness, professionalism and caring manner of the unit staff was exemplary.
Hopefully, this will highlight the positive side of the NHS and its excellent care – often overlooked in the current climate.
I wish to personally thank nursing staff Debbie, Sharon, George and Dr Hudson.
I left the unit with a smile and my dignity intact.
