THE recently distributed 2015/16 council tax leaflet from Malvern Hills District Council says on page four: "This year we plan to... undertake a further review of senior management structures to drive out further savings".
Does not "drive out" mean "get rid of"?
Perhaps they meant "drive forward" – but perhaps also it is a case of many a true word being spoken unintentionally!
