ONE of the more positive aspects of the local media is its ability to reflect something of the activity of those organisations and individuals who seek to assist others.
Maybe having the purest water this side of Heaven has something to do with it, for here in Malvern we seem especially fortunate to be blessed with an exceptionally strong spirit of giving.
From the likes of the Elmley Foundation (celebrating its 20th anniversary this year) to those who give up their time to collect for various flag days, it is truly humbling to discover something of altruism and generosity that transforms lives.
It is vitally important that such activity is acknowledged, celebrated and supported.
I earnestly hope that the Malvern Gazette will continue to play its part in highlighting various needs and the sterling work being done by young and old to make the world a better and more equitable place.
