REGARDING your article about a child's headstone being removed from a cemetery without the mother even being consulted (June 5).

Regardless of whether the council should take action in this matter (and I don't believe for a second it should), I would love for the people who apparently complained about this headstone to get in touch with the mother in order to explain how their opinion of a headstone is more important than a mother's symbol of grief of love.

Utterly disgusting.
