I HAVE been following the story about the gravestone removed from the child's grave at Great Malvern Cemetery.
It has angered me to the point that I felt I wanted to write you and share my thoughts.
I think that what Malvern Town Council has done is absolutely inexcusable.
Such a show of disrespect and an inability to differentiate between what is morally right and what is unacceptable.
How dare they remove a gravestone of a child... or anyone at all!
It just goes to show how so ignorant these councils are with their so-called rules!
Does it really matter what the gravestones look like as long as they are not offensive?
In all my life I have never been so incensed by such ridiculous actions
A family should have every right to place whatever gravestone they wish for their family members.
This is a time of modern ideas and thinking. We are not some archaic society that needs to follow outdated and useless rules.
