Rats and rubbish

OVER ten years ago MHDC tried to introduce wheelie bins to improve collections and it was found to be time wasting for the dustmen using the grabber dustbin lorry to collect the bins and empty them.

Now they try it again at the cost of new bins to MHDC (our rates) for everyone. Also two week collections instead of one means rats. With rubbish staying around for two weeks a lot of areas will be affected by rats and to call out the rat catcher it costs £45.

You can buy rat poison at £6 a box but be safe where you put it for children and pets.

I hope MHDC will also reduce the rates on bin collection as we are charged for the collection now each week so the rates should be reduced.
