OUR Upton Marching Band is a most excellent pastime and disciplined recreation for our talented budding musicians.

Surely we can put up with a little noise on their practice nights?

As for getting his children to sleep - it is VERY good training for them in later life. I was able to sleep through an incredible amount of noise during the London Blitz and now can go to sleep through any kind of noise.
