AS president of both the Ledbury in Bloom Group and the Ledbury Tourist Association, I feel that I must voice the appreciation of the town to the contribution made by UBL through the good offices of the Chairman, Mr David Hepworth.

We are very fortunate to have been able to attract one of the largest cider factories in existence to the town and so encourage the continuing existence and expansion of the cider orchards of the county, which attract many visitors to the area and at the same time provide valuable employment opportunities.

The Ledbury in Bloom group, acting on behalf of the town, is continually looking for sponsors and active help with presenting Ledbury as an attractive town to visit, and to compete in the National Britain in Bloom competition. UBL, within a few months of getting established responded to our appeal for help, for which we should all be grateful – long may the business remain in the town.
