WHAT an outrage! The sudden and announced closure of The Foley Arms Hotel is yet another example of a large company raking in every penny before happily declaring themselves bankrupt.

This is the obscene behaviour that has led to holiday makers being stranded abroad with no return flight and shows no regard whatever for the affect on people's lives and the jobs involved.

Mr Thomas and his staff deserve great respect and support for the sit-in they have staged.
