Make your choice (From Ledbury Reporter)

I supported Sainsbury's and Tesco to start with, but as more information has come out I would no longer support a Tesco application for a number of reasons. Tesco already have the major market share within the town with two stores (The supermarket & One Stop), their ethical methods are certainly something to be questioned and unlike Sainsbury's who use UK suppliers for almost all their ranges, they were also involved in this working for nothing scandel - something they have since withdrawn from, but I would question if they would have if it had not come to the publics attention. This isn't just about having a larger store, its about giving people more choice and enabling them to shop within their own town instead of having to have a round trip of over 20 miles.

UK suppliers does that include the Danish Bacon they have on offer in Sainsburys Ross.

I'd suspect alongside that "Danish Bacon" you would find a number of UK varieties as well, its called choice baboo2you, something you seem intent on denying to others.

That's a headline even a statement, choice as in allowing people to make comments, if they dare to say anything that does not not come into your book of happiness they get slated or told to stand on the naughty stair. Any supermarket offers choice as you well know, as any supermarket sells Danish bacon, like any supermarket including Sainsbury sells New Zealand lamb (by the way Tesco is cheapest on mysupermarket.co.uk)

I saw a comment on the wages at Sainsbury's as being derisory, i'm just wondering how many of the illuminati owned shops in the illustrious high street pay more than a supermarket of any description or offer the pension allowance of even the worst performing supermarket, i guess you don't pay them, but you're going to save Ledbury from the demon that is progress, how are people using the internet?
