MALVERN Hills District Council’s proposal to increase short stay car parking charges by 50 per cent makes very little sense.
It will force shoppers and visitors elsewhere and in turn damage the town.
Rather than discouraging people, we should be encouraging them to visit, shop and eat here, enjoying all that Great Malvern has to offer.
