Internet cause

IN response to the letter by John Charles (March 9), surely this tempestuous rhetoric about buying uniforms on the internet at a fraction of the retail price, including delivery, tells the story.

It is the internet killing the high streets not the supermarkets.

If the ordinary people of Ledbury had their own supermarket and much needed petrol station, they could all stay in the vicinity and shop locally.

The townsfolk would still be here and so would the cheaper fuel, food, and clothes etc.

The carbon footprint would be reduced, then no more long-haul flights for us country bumpkins.

We put up our household banner with pride, everyone knows who we are, we don’t hide behind a computer or pen.
