Footballing woes

AS a supporter of Malvern Town FC since 1980 I have been shocked at the collapse of the club both on and off the football field.

After a promising 2005, the town have become a joke on the field, losing games which they should in all honesty be winning and frequently on the wrong end of cricket-type score lines.

Off the field, we hear of revolt in the boardroom and takeovers coming to nothing.

Just what plan, if any, do the numpties on the club’s committee have for the future, and how could it all go so badly wrong for a club once well run by Mr.

Richard Anson?

Malvern has a population of over 45,000 – easily good enough to support a club in the Southern League or Conference South – yet this is not being realised, nor helped, by those who are ruining, err running, the club.

Disappointing indeed.
